Do you know “Kuchi-Moji”?

As a global fieldwork provider of market research services, Just Worldwide understands the value of making a real connection with all the parties involved. With the consent of patients and their families, and with the help of various disease communities and groups, we have created a series of videos to help better understand the lives of patients.

In this video, we have Kazufumi Fukase, a patient with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a nationally designated intractable disease, and his daughter Hisari Fukase. Due to ALS, the muscles of the limbs, throat, and tongue, as well as the muscles necessary for breathing, have become weaker and weaker, making it difficult for Fukase and Hisari to communicate. We paid attention. Those who see their exchange for the first time may be surprised, but through this video, you will understand that mouth writing is actually a very rational method. The exchange between the two is summarized in three videos. Below is the first of these videos "Do you know Kuchi-moji? (Short version)"

You may also want to watch the full version of the video "Do you know Kuchi-moji?" or the related video “See beyond ALS”
