Oncology (Gastric, Pancreatic, Colorectal, NSCLC) case study - our approach and recruitment method

AGI cancers, including colorectal cancer (CRC), gastric cancer (GC) and pancreatic cancer / pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), represent poor survival rates with current therapies. This was a new opportunity for the Client.

NSCLC - products are established, and there was a need of greater background understanding.

Methodology:

Physicians – All 60 min WATIS plus 3 PRFs
Patients – 60 min IDI with 30min video/ paper diary homework or 90min IDI (filmed)
PSO workers – All 60 min WATIS

Recruitment Method:

Physicians via networking and recruiter databases
Patients recruitment through establishing strong relationships Charities, Support Groups and HCP referrals (where applicable)
Using social media to contact patient influencers/groups
Timelines: 6-8 weeks recruitment
